Cre8

I spend most of my free time creating. Sewing, crafts, knitting, cooking. When I'm not creating I am spending time on my computer, surfing websites for new ideas or reading others' blogs. As a new goal for myself this year I want to create something new: a blog which will showcase some of the things I create. I hope to attract a large audience of others who like to create things and plan to include tutorials with instructions about some of my projects. I have lots of ideas and have been journaling about some of these. I would love to see these ideas become reality on my own blog.

Challenges of Older Single Women

I've finally reached the place in my life where I'm realizing its likely I'll never meet that special someone and the reality is I don't think I care.

At this point in time the most important issues are my health and my family. Both are challenging.

Intro : About Me

Hi there,

I'm a new addition to blog writing course. I'm quite new to blog and had been working to increase traffic to my blog since then. I happens to know blogs from a friend. He is encouraging me to create a blog since he thought that my writing is quite OK, so here I am.

Blogging 101

!Making a blog worthy of reading is something you can learn from Blogging 101!

I already have a blogger account but no one is reading it and it seems like I would have to pay to get real exposure. Just giving it to family and friends is not a real solution. I am frustrated with this because it's just like a personal journal and I want to share with the entire world. The other thing I do not get is that I have to find a "nitch" which is something I love to write about and can write about as an expert. It's the narrowing it down to ONE THING that I cannot seem to handle right now. My expert knowledge is in Cosmetology but I am no longer in that field of interest. I have moved on to the legal world as a Paralegal. It amazes me that attorneys nor the general public KNOW what the Paralegal is able to do! Yes, a legal secretary but more glorified and able to do everything but charge for services, represent clients in court, giving legal advice or accepting clients. Yes, paralegals perform the same functions as an attorney. They can recognize and evaluate relevant facts and legal concepts, organize, analyze, communicate, and administer; resolve conflicts, negotiate, and relate well with various types of persons, often when these persons are in distress.

My Blogging Experience

I have very little knowledge on how to use blogs. I did try to set one up about a year ago, which I managed to accomplish, but found that I did not have enough interesting content to keep it going. Or should I say my information was not focused and so I closed it down. Since this time I have seen a huge increase in the use of blogs and it has sparked me to get my own started again with more of a focus on what I want to talk about. Plus I would love to know how to link different information sites and really get a feel for the full capabilities of blogging, because previously all I knew how to do was add content. So there you have it, this is my knowledge and experience of blogs. I look forward to learning more and getting my blog off the ground with the help from www.blogwritingcourse.com

Thanks for reading!

Kind Regards,

Janet

So you want to know all about me?

He walked through knee deep snow, the icy wind snapping at his face like an angry terrier. He was only a mile from the hospital, he could even see the large clock tower on the hospital grounds through the trees as the wind moved the large branches. His journey had taken almost an hour, battling the elements and now his hands and feet stung as the blood flowed back into them. he hobbled gently up to the maternity ward, clean and warm and smelling of talcum powder, he had no idea of what to expect. There in front of him was his wife of 10 years, she was holding a bundle of blankets and although she looked tired she had a glow, a radiance about her he had never seen before. She looked over at him and smiled, he made that last few steps relatively pain free, she opened the blankets to let him see what lay inside, his eyes widened, his face slackened and he fainted. Thanks Dad, not what I was expecting as a reaction from you!

It got better from then on, blessed with two of the most loving and caring parents I grew up healthy and relatively happy. An only child with a highly active imagination I went through the 60's and 70's being everything from a cowboy to an astronaut and many other things in-between. My father had the wanderlust, he was always looking for something, a trait I am happy to say I have inherited from him and one that has led me around the world several times and the opportunity to live in some of the most magnificent cities in the world.

Now in my mid 40's I am relatively settled here in the USA, England being my birth home, although my poor wife constantly puts up with my never ending desire to move somewhere new and meet new people!

So my new 'adventures' are to be a virtual kind and I intend to use blog writing as a way to live some of my adventures vacariousley through the internet - maybe I will see you on one of my adventures!
