I'm new to blogging but have been reading them for years. Looking forward to starting my own blog soon. Thanks for this precourse.

I am so excited about finding this website and looking forward to learning information on blogging. I am an 37 year old accountant by profession, but have so many other interests including being a mom, politics, computers, and photography just to name a few. This is something I would love to turn into a full time career, but my main purpose is to open up discussions on the state of affairs in the United States.

Looking forward to learning all I can about blogging.

The voice of a female designer

I am a female in the architectural community with a passion for sustainable design. Reading friends blogs and managing my personal Face Book page is the extent of my blogging experience. However my curiosity in blogging lead to participating in a seminar by Joel Mitchell, author of, "Six Pixels of Separation." From the seminar I gained an appreciation for blogging as a vehicle for individuals to find their voice in the field they are passionate about. Join me in my journey of creating a blog about women in design and how their approach to design is, not better or worse, but different than the way men approach design.

I've blogging for awhile but I never took it so serious until now, I have more than one blog: A personal one and a business one, when I discovered the word "blog" I did my researches and found out that it is possible to make money blogging, so I started my first blog and I was so excited to make some money so I published like about 5 or 6 posts and figured out that blogging require more than patience and in order to make some extra cash you have be a good writer to attact readers. It doesn't happen before you can say "Jack Robinson". I have a blog about blogging and I signed up for this course to learn more, I am not a professional but I know some so I hope I can learn more and start blogging like a pro!

WHY I LIKE TO BLOG

I like to blog because I feel I have a lot to share to everyone else around me. My experiences both fun and sad, positive and negative, exciting and sobber - they all have been learning opportunities for me. And sharing them will help give others a perspective. It may perhaps inspire them to go on or perhaps, spare them from trouble. All this desire to blog started because I enjoy reading blogs. The blogs I visit ( on my career, music, health, inspirational stories and humorous stuff) are very stimulating and i am encouraged by the thought that my experiences will have the same effect on my readers.

New to Blogging

I am new to the blogging scene so a beginner blogging course is a good place to start. I have started the initial steps of creating a free blog on Wordpress.com and have created a few posts. I am looking forward to developing a more professional image with better content.
