Testing Testing Testing - Can you hear me?

This blog was set up as part of the BlogWritingCourse.com. The first step in their free course was to actually log in to a blog and do a post.  This blog was, for a year or so, the blog that new students logged into and posted.

It was a great way to start a course. Very experiential.  And back when the course was hot, around 2007-08, it was a novel and exciting experience for many people to write something and have it appear right on the World Wide Web.

Of course, since then, Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and all sorts of online interactive creative experiences have been launched and become mainstream so what was once thrilling, is now mundane.  I suppose the first phone calls and video calls were also exhilarating at first but now, are routine.

At one point, the goal was to fold this course into a the Time4Writing.com courses but so far, this has not yet been done.  Sadly, the blogwritingcourse.com is no longer a state of the art educational experience since it was developed prior to Twitter, Facebook, etc becoming routine and mainstream.

We might update the course and make it hot. We might now.  In the meantime, here are my personal hobby blogs, all of which can trace their history back to what was initially, blackbeltblogger.com and now is located at http://www.blogwritingcourse.com

http://www.bbat50.com - A black belt at 50
http://jokercollection.blogspot.com/ - Amused by Jokers Am I, my online joker collection.
http://www.retroedtech.com - My collection of classic educational technology and games.  For instance: http://www.retroedtech.com/2013/01/little-golden-books.html
http://emericfejes.blogspot.com/ - A blog about the Yugoslavian painter, Emerik Fejes

That's a lot of hobby blogs, I know. I've thought of doing one big blog but it seems hard to figure out the navigation and how to get there from here.  BTW, my twitter handle is @spellingcitymay

Of course, the goal of most blogs is to build a  Business of Monthly Billing which has steady income.
