Fresh Start for Blogging.

I'm a 40 year old mom with teenagers. It seems like when it comes to technology I just missed the boat. My kids are doing things on computers and cell phones I don't understand. I consider myself a fairly smart individual. I will no longer allow myself to sit passively by while the rest of the world rushes by on the technology highway. Watch out world I'm getting on board!

New to Blogging

Amazingly I have never written or commented on a blog before. I have read a variety of them, but I have never taken the writing plunge.

I'm a new blogger interested in learning all I can about blogging for many reasons. have purchased two domain names - one for a personal blog and one that will be more business-oriented. I can't believe I've waited this long to do this. But better late than never! Best wishes to all of you new bloggers!

Blogging??? Me???? Really?????!!!!!!

Well, so my experience with blogging has been with FB and various communities I belong to on the web. However, I have never taken any formal training to actually write blogs. When I found this course on one of my communities it sounded like a good idea to try so I signed up. And here I am doing my first assignment.

Exciting Journey for a New Blogger!

I'm moving from the dark ages into the light! I have never blogged before or even read blogs. I thought they were something like gossip columns which I do not read. With the continued surge of social media, it has now become foolish not to use blogging as a tool for strengthening my business. I am a "solopreneuer" and would love to draw in new clients while having people explore my website.
There is one thing for sure, I will never know it is possible unless I try!

Reasons to blog

I blog for many diffferent reasons. Sometimes, I blog for self-expression. I blog also as a way of keeping notes to myself. I blog also as a way of having materials to show to others. Getting Started

Hello!

I am a young women interested in posting about my life on the web. It is that simple for me. I like most people my age started out with a messenger serves then Myspace then Facebook and this is just the next step in the progression of things. I decided that now is as good of time as ever. I am recently married and moved far way from home base. In still wanting to share thing with my friends and family back home but in a more personal way I came up with this as a better alternative to those social networking sites. I figured on it not being too difficult so diving in head first and getting things right the first time seemed to be a good idea. I learned very soon that when a site says simple and great for everyone they are most certainly not talking about someone who has little to no http knowledge. So, after purchasing a web server and theme for a site more than a month ago and having a empty web page to this day I came here for the knowledge I need to put me in the category that they speak of as everyone.
