What Will My Statement Be?

Sharing. Expressing your opinions. Learning. Blogging is a way to formulate your own ideas and let the world know about them.

What would I like to share with the world? That's what I'm hoping to figure out by taking a blogging course. Forcing me to make some decisions...

What do I know about?
Medicine.
Organization.
Mac Computers.
Salsa Dancing.
Spanish.

What will my statement be?

my blogging experiance

I started my blog last April and have enjoyed posting news about my cakes and hobbies and uploading pictures. I would now like to develop my blog further and improve its look, layout and content. I attempting to introduce a new page but got lost in the jargon and gave up.
I would also like to link in with the web address I have purchased.
I have decided its time to go back to the beginning and learn about blogging properly.
Wish me luck!

80's Girl New to Blogging

Hello! I am new to blogging, and thought I'd try this out. I've always been a writer, but really doing it the old-fasioned way -- pen and paper. So, I'm a little behind, but ready to catch up!

free time cont'd

I've enjoyed skiing for 30 years

I enjoy being up on the mountain

Free time

In my free time I like to run, do yoga, bike and ski.

new Blogger - looking forward to it

Hello,
I just signed up for the intro course and am happy to be posting my first article. I've decided to build my own blog so that I can share my passion for integrative medicine with my community of friends, family and patients.

I have no previous experience with blogging. I have a Facebook, LinkedIN and twitter account but have been primarily a passive user on these sites. I actually have never been to my twitter account since I set it up a few years ago!

My goal for this year was to develop my social media profile and community of like minded people alongside my medical practice. I've chosen blogging as my first step, because it will be a useful adjunct to patient treatment plans, and it'll create a valuable hub to link my other networks together.

That's it for now,
V

Me, Myself and You

I have had experience with blogs using this system to keep in touch when my husband drove truck to let the family know where he was and what cool stuff he was seeing. When he quit driving the blog went by the wayside. I attempted a site for a photography business but am just not sure what to share or how.

Me, Myself, and I

Hello and welcome to my world! I'm a homeschooling mom of three and I've been on the incredible homeschooling journey since my son was 4 years old. There have been some valleys and creeks to cross along the way, but the beauty from the hilltops make the valleys seem small and the creeks seem shallow.

We live on a small farm in the middle of no where, so when the kids have an exceptionally bad day, I can go outside and yell and no one can hear me! It certainly has its advantages! When I see the children beaming from learning something new about how a farm can help them to be self-sufficient, it makes my heart proud! They've learned everything from vegetable gardening, to fishing, to growing beef cattle. Nature surrounds us, so science has been a big adventure.

In addition to homeschooling, I love to spend time in my water garden and spy on the hummingbirds in the spring and summer. When I'm inside, I like to share my love for sewing and crocheting with my daughter. I promised I wouldn't tell, but if you can keep a secret, I'll let you know that even my boys like to crochet from time to time! It never hurts to have a hidden talent! I have a great love for cooking, but cleaning the kitchen is not my favorite pastime. It's great when I can sweet-talk hubby into doing that for me!

So that you don't wonder about my kids' socialization issues, I'll let you know up front that we are very active in a local homeschool co-op and take pride in community activities. We help at a local food bank, visit nursing home patients, and go on many field trips all over the state and even a few across the country. We've made many lifetime friends through the homeschooling community that none of us would trade for the world!

If you've ever had thoughts about homeschooling or living on a farm in the middle of no where, you've had some pretty good thoughts! Both adventures open many doors and make life truly fun-filled and exciting. I'm so glad you stopped by to visit! If you have questions about homeschooling, check out what other parents are saying over at The Parent Community.

Who Own's My Thought's?

If I start this "blog" and begin sharing the news I so far been storing up in a journal or program on my computer do I still have control over this information? I plan on writing a book someday and I would hate for someone to run off with my silly, goofy life and steal our thunder!?!? Is a blog proof enough that it's mine or am I just paranoid.... overthinking it too much.... hmmmm. Just some random thoughts before getting started....

My first blog

It is an extremely snowy day outside and the world has seemed to stand still. Another gift from God to spend the day doing things that I love to do.

I am a wife and mother of 5 children, currently out of work - and yet I have never felt more peace in my life. I am using this time to learn, grow and enjoy! I have worked for the past 8 years in marketing/communications. I have enjoyed this fast paced, creative world. But now it is time for me to find that job that I am most passionate about - Children's Ministry.

Actually that is what brought me to the blogging world. I am currently a volunteer as co-director of Children's Ministry at my church. I have also worked for pay in this position some years ago while living in NY. Don't know what I was thinking when I quit that job! However, change was a coming and so here I am today!

This is the first blog post that I have made. My goal is to create a blog for myself/family and one for our children's ministry. So I am looking forward to learning as much as I can.

I love money...

I am a self-proclaimed lover of money and all things personal finance. I am deeply passionate as to how it relates to my life and others' lives. I am a wife and a mother of an 18-month-old girl and I work full time in the accounting industry. How fitting, right?

I don't have much experience blogging but I would like to get more into it to keep my mind from turning to mush (along with my daughter's dinner)!

I gravitate to quirk...

Whether its a mass e mail or opening up my personal journal, my goal is make folks spit out their wine while reading me. In my experience, Erma Bombeck was my first exposure to successful self-depricating humor, Bill Cosby put it on TV and Jerry Sienfeld said it was a show about nothing.

I read a fellow housewife's blog and it was a TOTAL snoozer. If she can do it and annoy the general public spreading her dorkness -- I can do it.

I have no experience in blogging. I just enjoy making people laugh. There are some terrific writers out there. I often spit out my wine while reading them and I'm going to join in the fun.

My Design Blog

I am an aspiring Interior Designer in my last year of Design School. I want to start my own blog about creative ways to bring good design into the home.
