Writing 001
I have written a book, the great American novel no less. It is 700,000th on Kindle's list of popular books. Popular? I am competing with three quarters of a million new E-entries to Kindle in the past three months alone. I am deeply depressed. But, wait, I could initiate my own blog and drive thousands of hungry readers to my site - not necessarily for riches, but for some return on the two years I have spent in research, composition and editing not to mention the time I spent culling through the rejections from literary agents. Please discuss!

Dear Fellow New Blogger: At least you have written a book. I wrote about 40 pages of a book intended to be published on Kindle but I got bogged down in self-doubt. So, I say: better blogged down than bogged down right now! I'm going to start with the basics, something easy. Best of luck to you! -- Patty
