To insert a link into a post, type the words you want to be linked and highlight them. Choose the (in Wordpress) (in Blogger) from the editor options. This will open the window pictured below. The options here will be slightly different depending on where you're blogging, but the idea is always the same. It will want a web address and a name for the link.
In the Link URL space, add the web address of the site you want to link to.
For the Target space, you can decide if you want the link to open in a new window or the same window. If you leave it as is is, it will typically open in the same window by default.
In the Title space, add the words that you highlighted.
Select Insert
Add a picture that represents your hobby.
To insert an image, you'll choose (in Wordpress) (in Blogger) from the editor options, which will open the window similar to the ones pictured below. As with the link options, these will be slightly different depending on the WYSIWYG editor you are using, but the basic idea is the same.
You will be asked for an image URL - This is the web address of the file.
You will also generally be asked for a description (or alt tag) for your image - This is what people will see if they cannot see your image. It's a good idea to add a short description there.
